I don't like the word "diet." It's gotten a bad rap from a lot of people. Everyone hears the word "diet" and they immediately conjure up images of starvation and self deprivation. Diet is not about starving yourself. When I talk about "your diet" I am referring to "that which you normally eat."

I'm not going to "put you on a diet." I'm going to try to educate you to make proper diet changes, and to have a good diet with healthy foods. Sure, you can occasionally have chicken wings, chips, or soda if that's what you want. However, we're not going to make foods that are bad for us part of our regular diet.
